Locks your own STX toward a signer by calling pox-5 stake. Any wallet can stake; it is not admin-gated. Naming the signer-manager attributes your stake to that signer, and the lock takes effect the next reward cycle.i
Modifies the stake you already hold with a signer. No cooldown for increasing, extending, or switching pool. Decreasing is not possible here — see the note below.
Increasing, extending, and switching pool take effect without a cooldown cycle. Decreasing or shortening is not possible with stake-update — the contract has no field for it. To stake less, unstake fully (below), wait for your STX to unlock, then stake the smaller amount.
Ends your stake with a signer early, before your chosen term finishes. Full exit only — you cannot unstake part of a position.
Your STX unlocks at the start of the next reward cycle, not immediately. To re-stake or stake a smaller amount, use the Stake card above once your STX has unlocked.
Progress of the current reward cycle. The marker above the bar is the current Bitcoin block. A new stake, and any increase, extension, or pool switch, take effect at the start of the next cycle; unstaked STX unlocks then too. In the prepare phase (the last blocks of a cycle) these calls are rejected — the card turns amber and an attempt will explain why.
Real value moves on mainnet, this locks STX. The contract enforces the gates: the signer must be registered with a valid grant, not in the prepare phase, and your balance must cover the amount. Signer Sidekick is interim tooling.
